About these terms

Last updated: October 19, 2026. These terms describe use of the Grad Hub website and private workspace and the general basis on which we provide consulting services. Read them alongside our Privacy policy at /privacy and any written engagement agreement, proposal, or order you accept. A separate agreement controls the specific services and commercial terms it addresses. Nothing here removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow you to waive. Questions can be directed to our team at [email protected].

Our services and admissions decisions

Grad Hub provides academic, admissions, and career guidance, including application strategy, feedback on materials, interview preparation, and related development support. Services are educational and advisory. Institutions, employers, testing organizations, and regulators make their own decisions and may change their requirements. We do not guarantee admission, an interview, a scholarship, employment, a particular score, or another outcome, and we are not an admissions authority or an official representative of an institution unless expressly stated.

Customized engagements and fees

A consultation helps identify your goals, timeline, and required services. Engagements can be customized by selecting services and the number of hours agreed with Grad Hub. A public service list, consultation request, or newsletter signup does not by itself purchase a package or reserve a consultant. Before paid work begins, the written offer or agreement should confirm scope, hours, price, currency, applicable taxes, payment schedule, and any expiry or other conditions. Additional work or hours require agreement. We do not impose a universal fixed package through these website terms.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Payments are due as stated in your accepted offer or agreement and are processed through the payment methods made available to you. Rescheduling, late cancellations, missed sessions, unused hours, refunds, and engagement expiry are governed by the terms disclosed for your engagement and applicable law. These website terms do not create a blanket no-refund policy or a cancellation charge. Ask us to clarify any unclear condition before you pay. Contact Grad Hub promptly about a billing error or a service concern so we can review it.

Your account and workspace

Provide accurate information, keep your contact details current, and protect your password, sign-in codes, and private intake links. Use your own account and do not share access without authorization. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Workspace tools can help you maintain your CV, autobiographical sketch materials, STAR stories, drafts, and progress, but you should keep your own copies of important records and final submissions. If you are under the age of majority where you live, involve a parent or guardian in arranging and accepting paid services.

Your application and responsibilities

You remain responsible for truthful and accurate application materials, program eligibility, deadlines, submission instructions, reference permissions, and the final review and submission of your work. Provide relevant information and feedback in time for the agreed work. Consultant feedback supports your own thinking and expression; it does not authorize fabricated experiences, false credentials, impersonation, plagiarism, or a breach of an institution's rules. Follow any rules on outside assistance and AI use that apply to your application or assessment.

Your materials and our resources

You retain your rights in the original materials you provide. You give Grad Hub permission to access, store, and use those materials as needed to deliver the agreed services and operate your workspace, as described in the Privacy policy. Only provide material you are entitled to share. Grad Hub and its licensors retain rights in their templates, courses, methods, and other original resources. Unless a separate agreement permits more, you may use resources supplied to you for your own personal educational purposes and may not resell, republish, or distribute them to others.

Respectful and lawful use

Use the site and services lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass others, upload malicious files, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the platform, or access another student's information. Do not use consulting support to cheat on a live or restricted assessment, obtain confidential test content, or misrepresent your identity or qualifications. We may restrict access or decline requests that would compromise safety, security, confidentiality, or academic integrity.

AI, third-party tools, and professional services

AI-supported features, when available, can assist with practice and organization but may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable output. Review their output and do not treat it as an admissions decision or a substitute for professional judgment. Third-party payment, meeting, testing, and application platforms may have their own terms and availability limits. Admissions and career consulting is not medical treatment, mental health treatment, legal advice, or an emergency service. Any separately arranged regulated professional service requires its own appropriate scope and consent.

Service issues and access changes

We aim to provide useful support and a reliable workspace, but availability may be affected by maintenance, technical failures, or events beyond our reasonable control. Contact us promptly if a problem affects a session or deadline so we can discuss practical alternatives. We may suspend access to address suspected misuse or a security issue, and may end access when an engagement ends or as provided in your agreement. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and available next steps. A change in access does not remove payment, refund, privacy, or other rights that continue under your agreement or applicable law.

Concerns and applicable rights

If you are dissatisfied with a service, contact us at [email protected] with enough detail for our team to review the concern. Do not include payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information. We will consider the circumstances and the terms of your engagement when discussing a resolution. These terms do not exclude responsibility or limit a remedy where doing so would be unlawful. Any dispute remains subject to applicable law and the dispute provisions, if any, in your written engagement agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these website terms as the platform and services change, and will update the date above. Changes do not retroactively change an accepted engagement's agreed price, scope, cancellation terms, or accrued rights. Where a change requires your agreement or additional notice under applicable law, we will follow that process. Contact us if you need a copy of the terms that applied when you arranged your services.
